Handy hints and tips

Helen Parry

Helen Parry, mum of 6yr old Megan, 3 yr old Huw and 13 month old Owen says:
"My tried and tested method for applying sun cream is to play a game of cops and robbers. When they’re running around I chase them with Kids UltraMist™ Spray Lotion SPF 50, which sprays at every angle – even upside down – and I don’t even have to rub it in! So they’re happy continuing with their game, and I’m happy knowing that their skin’s totally protected. The kids are also the first to ask for our Aloe Vera Aftersun in the evening, so they can play monsters with the slimy green gel. It’s great for skin that’s been out in the sunshine as it contains pure Aloe Vera which great for moisturising and soothing"

Dr Chris Steele MBE

Dr Chris Steele MBE, resident family doctor on ITV’s This Morning says:
"My advice is to educate kids about the importance of sun protection from a very young age, so that they swiftly start doing it for themselves and it becomes a natural part of their daily routine. You can make it fun by turning it into a game, rewarding them and giving them extra praise for covering the most sensitive areas such as ears and nose. I find stickers make a great prize and it’ll help you keep tabs on how often the cream’s been applied"
